The Museum of Islamic Art celebrates its 119th anniversary

The Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo marked its 119th anniversary with the inauguration of three temporary exhibitions organised to tell the history of Islamic Civilisation, covering archeology, art and Arabic calligraphy throughout the Islamic world. The exhibitions included pieces of work inspired by Islamic art by graduate students enrolled in programmes at the Jameel House of Traditional Art.
