Transforming Education, Shaping Children's Future

Transforming Education, Shaping Children's Future (EJADA, formerly TREE) is a collaboration between Save the Children and the MIT Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL). The initiative comprises a systems-wide teacher training programme that uses compassion to help teachers overcome trauma and deliver effective teaching.

EJADA was launched in 2019 with a pilot in Jordan, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Community Jameel, Dubai Cares and Hikma. The programme in Jordan is anticipated to directly and indirectly reach 657,000 children, teachers, parents and school administrators.
