The hidden impact of climate change on human health

Synopsis

Convened at the United Arab Emirates COP27 pavilion by Reaching the Last Mile, Wellcome and Community Jameel, this meeting draws attention to the rising risks posed by climate change on human health, and specifically the threat of infectious disease.

Bringing together leaders in policy, medicine and development, with voices from the region and the fronline of the fight against emerging disease, the meeting will identify areas for urgent action, from funding, to research and policy.

Reaching the Last Mile is an initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, president of the United Arab Emirates.
