Karim Sedky

Karim Sedky is a Creative Associate at Community Jameel, an independent, global organisation advancing science and learning for communities to thrive.

Prior to joining Community Jameel, fuelled by a desire to reveal the intricacies of the human condition, Karim led multiple crews on month-long documentary projects in remote locations, directed and edited an array of experimental short films and developed adventure sport-oriented advertising campaigns for local brands in Canada and Egypt.

Karim holds a bachelor’s degree with distinction in film production from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema in Montreal, Canada, earning a scholarship for academic excellence in his second year of study.
