Ambreen Shaikh

Ambreen is a Programmes Officer at Community Jameel, an independent, global organisation advancing science and learning for communities to thrive.

Prior to joining Community Jameel, Ambreen has worked for the UK Government in the UK Health Security Agency during the height of the pandemic and later, in the Department for Education. She also has previous experience working with refugees and underprivileged school children at various NGOs. Her expertise lies in tackling global issues through a holistic synthesis of related disciplines.

Ambreen studied a unique interdisciplinary degree and holds a BASc in Liberal Arts, studying geopolitics, international relations, and energy policy from University College London.
