AI could revolutionise cancer detection, according to MIT, Mass General research
Doctors and engineers from the MIT Jameel Clinic and Massachusetts General Hospital are developing method that could revolutionise cancer detection through an artificial intelligence program called Sybil. Their study, published by researchers including Regina Barzilay, AI faculty lead at the MIT Jameel Clinic, found that Sybil could accurately predict whether a person will develop lung cancer in the next year up to 94 percent of the time.
