Nature Water
Book
First published in 1981, this textbook sets out to write clearly and accurately about heat transfer and aims to connect the subject to the real world that it serves. The book is meant for juniors, seniors and first-year graduate students, as well as those who choose to learn the subject on their own. It also aimed at practicing engineers who use it as a reference. In the late 1990s the authors, John Lienhard, director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Water and Food Systems Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and John Lienhard IV of the University of Houston, made the book available online free of cost.
