Machine learning under a modern optimisation lens

This book, co-authored by Dimitris Bertismas, faculty lead for entrepreneurship at the MIT Jameel Clinic, provides an original treatment of machine learning (ML) using convex, robust and mixed integer optimisation that leads to solutions to central ML problems at large scale that can be found in seconds or minutes, can be certified to be optimal in minutes or hours and can outperform classical heuristic approaches in out-of-sample experiments.
