Hervé Berville

Hervé Berville is the French secretary of state for the sea. He is a member of the party, La République en Marche! where he sits on the foreign affairs committee. Before joining the secretariat, Hervé was a member of the French National Assembly, representing the department of Côtes-d'Armor.

Prior to his political career, Hervé worked as an economist for the French Development Agency in Mozambique and as a programme manager for the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies in Kenya.

He is a graduate of Sciences Po Lille and the London School of Economics. In 2019 he received One Young World Politician of the Year Award and in 2018 was named among the Forbes list of 30 Under 30 in law and policy.
