The Jameel family
The late Abdul Latif Jameel established the Jameel family tradition of supporting the community. He helped tens of thousands in his lifetime; today, the family have enabled hundreds of thousands of people around the world to live happier, healthier, more productive lives.

Fady Jameel is Vice Chairman of Community Jameel. Since its launch in 2003, Community Jameel has seen an expansion globally, including a number of labs co-founded by Community Jameel at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) addressing some of humanity’s greatest challenges.
Hassan Jameel is Vice Chairman of Community Jameel. Hassan leads our refugee education programmes, including Transforming Refugee Education towards Excellence (TREE), a collaboration between Save the Children and the MIT Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab, tackling the psychosocial challenges encountered by teachers and students in Jordan.
