Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab

The world faces a major challenge to adapt to the changing nature of work: automation, globalisation, unemployment and the global refugee crisis are rapidly changing the paradigm for education. MIT and Community Jameel cofounded the Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) in 2017 with the mission to spark a global renaissance in education.

In 2019, J-WEL launched TREE, a compassionate teacher training programme, with Save the Children

Supporting pK-12, higher education and workplace learning.
