Development economics, the future of human behaviour research (January 2022)

Genuine progress in understanding human behaviour can only be achieved through a multidisciplinary community effort. Five years after the launch of Nature Human Behaviour, twenty-two leading experts in some of the core disciplines within the journal’s scope, including co-founder and co-director of the Abdul Latif Poverty Action Lab and Nobel Prize in Economics winner, Esther Duflo, who shares her views on pressing open questions and new directions in development economics. Her vision, along with that other experts, provides rich insight into the future of research on human behaviour.
