Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo: 13th graduation ceremony and exhibition
Synopsis
The 13th graduation ceremony and exhibition of the Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo commences on Sunday, 17 September 2023, at 19h00. Fifteen graduating artists showcased their works in ceramics, woodwork, brasswork, stone and gypsum, followed by a presentation of diplomas by programme director Dr Mamdouh Sakr, marking the completion of their two-year studies at the Jameel House. The graduation ceremony is convened by The Prince's Foundation School of Traditional Arts, Community Jameel and the Egyptian Cultural Development Fund.
The artists' works will remain on display until Thursday, 21 September 2023. The exhibition is free and open to the public from 10h00 to 15h00.
