The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) programme, Innovations in Data and Experiments for Action initiative (IDEA), releases the Handbook on using administrative data research and evidence-based policy, co-edited by Iqbal Dhaliwal, J-PAL global executive director; Shawn Cole, Harvard Business School; Anja Sautmann, World Bank; and Lars Vilhuber, Cornell University.
The handbook is a reference for researchers and data providers containing best practices and case studies on access, handling and analysis of administrative data to inform evidence-based policy innovations. The handbook is freely available online through an open licensing model.
