Noha El Qahwagy

Alumna (2019), Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo

Noha El Qahwagy is a product designer and 2019 graduate of the Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo, where she specialised in copper brass work. She currently works as a brass work instructor at the Jameel House, guiding students from the beginning of their projects to their final graduation pieces.

Passionate about designing products for home decor and accessories inspired by traditional Islamic Arts, Noha established her own brand, Noha El Qahwagy Designs, in 2019 which specialises in copper and metal arts. She is also part of the design team at the Egyptian Heritage Preservation Foundation (EHRF) at Bayt Al-Razzaz, where she participated in the Qijmas collection display during King Charles III's visit to Cairo.

Prior to joining the Jameel House, Noha worked as a graphic designer and set designer, and was a team member of ReArt, an initiative that aimed to promote recycling waste into art pieces. She holds a bachelor's degree in applied arts from the Higher Institute of Applied Arts.
