Melchor Sánchez Mendiola

Melchor Sánchez Mendiola is a paediatrician and the coordinator of assessment, educational innovation and development at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) where he is a full tenured professor of medical education and is responsible for the Master in Health Sciences Education programme.

Melchor studied medicine and paediatrics at the Mexican Army and Air Force University in Mexico City, and worked as a clinical research fellow at the Clinical Research Centre at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He obtained a master's degree in health professions education from the University of Illinois and a Doctorate in educational sciences from UNAM.
