Hany El-Deeb

Hany El-Deeb is a 2023 alumnus of the Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo, where he specialised in traditional wood joinery techniques and zincography on copper. A graduate from multiple art schools with several diplomas, Hany possesses a broad creative education, including cinematography, arts criticism and folk studies,

Today, he owns a private studio that focuses on designing and crafting wooden and copper products inspired by traditional arts and employing traditional techniques. Alongside his studio work, he delivers workshops in zincography on copper techniques to art enthusiasts, collaborating with cultural institutions dedicated to preserving traditional art.
