Eman Ramadan

Eman Ramadan is a 2019 graduate of and woodwork veneer tutor at the Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Cairo. After graduating from the Jameel House programme in 2019, where she specialised in woodwork, Eman founded her brand Origo.home that creates heritage-inspired, hand carved woodwork products for homes and everyday use.

Firmly believing that design should leave a lasting aesthetic impact, Eman started by designing small items such as magnets, coasters, mirrors and paintings. Today she crafts larger pieces such as walls, balconies, mihrabs and doors. While wood remains her core medium, Eman has expanded her kills and incorporates a wide range of materials into her designs, including copper, glass, iron, mother of pearl, pearls, and egg tempera colours.
