New international laboratory aims to study and promote health benefits of arts activities for individuals and communities

The World Health Organisation's first-ever major initiative linking arts and public health, the Jameel Arts & Health Lab aims to amplify research on the impact of the arts on health and wellbeing. The lab's ultimate aim is to inform policy across 193 UN member states and scale up effective arts-in-health interventions around the world to improve the health and well-being of millions of people, particularly among overlooked and underserved communities, and including in post-conflict recovery contexts.
