National Academy of Sciences elects Jameel Clinic PI Dina Katabi

Established by an Act of Congress and signed by President Abraham Lincoln in 1863, the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) recognises outstanding and original contributions to research. Today, the NAS announced the election of 120 members and 23 international members including Dina Katabi, principal investigator at the MIT Jameel Clinic, the epicentre of artificial intelligence (AI) and healthcare at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Dina was recognised for her outstanding research on wireless systems and AI, which have had a significant impact on the field.
