The first edition of the CLIMAVORE Assembly, organised by CLIMAVORE x Jameel at RCA, took place on 28-29 October 2023 at the Museum of Civilisations in Rome, where artists, farmers, researchers, chefs, hospitality professionals, policy makers and thought leaders address the connection of climate change and food systems through the lens of culture.

For the first time in Italy, the international assembly brings together farmers and growers, artists, chefs, cooperatives, hotel businesses, researchers, cultural thinkers, environmentalists, political decision makers and custodians of living seeds, to imagine how cultural institutions can contribute to creating the foundations for food justice and to stem the climate crisis.
The first edition of the CLIMAVORE Assembly will be held on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 October, an event promoted since 2015 by CLIMAVORE, a research platform that works to imagine regenerative diets and new food infrastructures by connecting artistic, cultural and agricultural spaces and developing research, pedagogical programs , curatorial operations and cooking apprenticeships that make possible a transformation of the food industry's impact on the climate and environment.
The CLIMAVORE Assembly brings together farmers and growers, artists, chefs, cooperatives, hospitality businesses, researchers, cultural thinkers, environmentalists, policy makers, keepers of living seeds involved to re-imagine the role of museums and cultural institutions as agents of transformation of food systems and agricultural in the context of the climate crisis.
