
The Royal College of Music (RCM) in London, the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development and Community Jameel, in partnership with the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), invite young string and vocal talents, from age 14 and 16 respectively, to participate in Mawheba, a programme supporting emerging classical / opera singers and string musicians in Egypt.
Taking place in Cairo from 4-6 November 2024, Mawheba comprises a series of masterclasses, workshops and Q&As and is an unmissable opportunity to perform to RCM professors and receive immediate feedback within a friendly and supportive environment. The programme culminates in a performance at the GEM.
The RCM is the global number-one institution for the performing arts according to the QS World University Rankings for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
